II Edition
The second edition - DEMOCAMP East/West was held on 23th and 24th May 2009.

The event gathered almost 300 participants, including guests from abroad. Taking into consideration the fact that it was the first effort to organize international barcamp-like event in Poland - that’s an impressive result!
The first day we had the opportunity to see 13 unconference presentations in two parallel sessions. By dint of open agenda everyone had a chance to show their internet-related passions, projects and skills. We hope that the “open agenda” will catch on in the Polish events for good.
Day two was entirely dedicated to start-ups. During the Start-up Competition invited Judges selected the best projects from 11 that were presented. Every start-up team participating in competition had 7 minutes for presentation and 4 minutes of comments, questions and answers time.Judges evaluated every presentation according to business criteria.
